Senior Regatta

The Senior Regatta is an annual event run by the Pointe au Baril Islanders Association and held on the front docks of the Ojibway Club on the Saturday of the August civic holiday long weekend, in 2024 it is on August 3rd. This event is for anyone 15 years of age and over, it is free and everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in any or all of the events. Registration is at 9am and the events begin immediately after.
The day begins with swimming events, then canoeing, and ends with a diving competition. After the completion of the events an award ceremony happens on the steps of the Ojibway Club to award medals and ribbons to the winners, this usually ends around 4 pm.
In 2024, our Senior Regatta Chairs are Meghan Allen and Kate Pitfield.

Advance registration is not required but is encouraged to support our volunteers on the day of the event.  Registration will also be available on the Ojibway Club docks on the day of the event.
