The Junior Regatta is an annual event run by the Pointe au Baril Islanders Association and held on the front docks of the Ojibway Club on the last Saturday of July. This event is for children aged 14 and under, it is free and everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the events. Registration is at 9am and the events begin immediately after.

The day begins with swimming events starting with the youngest age groups, then canoeing, and ends with a diving competition.

After the completion of the events an award ceremony happens on the steps of the Ojibway Club to award medals and ribbons to the winners and congratulate the participants, this usually ends around 3pm.
