Pointe au Baril’s Canada Day 150!
Our PaB community has been hard at work all winter and is planning a fantastic day of celebration and community events to commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday. But to make sure the day is a complete success, the PaB Canada 150 Team is seeking help from us cottagers to fill in some much needed volunteer gaps during the afternoon races to ensure a safe and fun filled Canada Day.
To which area would you like most to lend your support? Needed are:
- 2 to 4 volunteers with boats (with low freeboard or ladder, or Stand Up paddle board) to help with the short canoe races in the PaB harbour, from 2 to 4 p.m. Volunteers will help participants get to the water at the start and again, help them at the shore when they finish
- 2 to 4 volunteers to coordinate the short swim races in the PaB Harbour, from 2 to 4 p.m. Experienced volunteers would be a huge asset!
- 2 to 4 volunteers to coordinate start and finish of short canoe races in the PaB Harbour, from 2 to 4 p.m.
So contact a friend to volunteer along side you to add to the fun of a filled afternoon! Contact Scott Graham, the volunteer coordinator, NOW at: [email protected] so he knows he can count on you!.
